Nathan Freihofer is chasing the David Goggins Pull-Up records from the last few months, He will be doing a live stream on 13th January 2024 Saturday on his YouTube Channel ItsNate. He is attempting to break the 2013 world record of David Goggins for most pull-ups in 24 hours. 4030 pull-ups in 17 hours, 16 minutes. He named this challenge “Chasing the Goggins”. David Goggins once held the title for Guinees World Records for maximum pull-ups in 24 hours.
He promised to do a charity fundraiser, his goal is to raise 1$ for every pull-up for the @gruntstylefoundation and National Alliance for Eating Disorders. Nathan Freihofer, a 27-year-old Army Veteran and recovered Eating Disorder Survivor, has been training for the past 8 months to beat David Goggins’s old 24-hour pull-up record (4030 pull-ups) which was done in 2013. He hopes to raise $1 per pullup to donate to two causes:
- The Grunt Style Foundation: a nonprofit that aims to help all veterans in need, specifically to combat Veteran suicide, Veteran mental health, and more (such as housing, providing food, etc).
- The National Alliance for Eating Disorders: a nonprofit that helps educate and remove the stigma around eating disorders. They also provide in and outpatient care, weekly free therapy calls, help lines, and more for anyone struggling with an eating disorder.
